  • In my decades of management, I've worked with dozens of HR experts, but Jess is hands down the absolute best. I cannot imagine the efficient operations of our company without the acumen and skill that Jess brings. During the time Jess has worked with us, Jess has acted to save the company over six figures in state fees; kept us aligned with state, federal, and even international hiring requirements; and worked to keep our leadership team aligned regarding conflicts, employee issues, benefits, documentation, and all other things needed by HR.  Initially, we sought out Jess because the former point person overseeing the HR efforts was failing to maintain compliance with the many states where we have employees. We are fully remote, and we were receiving fine notices from states at such a volume and expense that we needed to hire an expert to come in and help us square things away. Jess outlined a plan, absorbed the responsibility and ownership for the problems, and reduced the actual penalties paid to under 1% of the figure before her coordination. She is a vital player in the company, and I cannot believe it ever operated without her. It is honestly impressive to watch her navigate the complexities of a fully remote team operating across the globe. As someone who has worked as an international consultant, graduated from law school and managed hundreds of people, I'm in awe of how easily Jess works in and around exceptionally complex concepts.
